* Private hospitals will be able to charge a maximum service charge of Rs 150 for a single dose after the fixed price of the vaccine.

* This is the worst pandemic in 100 years. But our country stood together in this time of crisis.
* Be it increasing the production of PPE kits, to ramping up the production of Liquid Medical Oxygen. We did it all. We have ramped up setting of hospitals and new health infrastructure.
* We used our armed forces to help people. Essential medical production was ramped up in no time.
* Vaccination is the only shield against Covid. Made in India vaccines are saving lives across the world. Imagine what would have happened if India had not developed COVID-19 vaccine against the virus.
* If you look at the history of the last 50-60 years, you will know that it used to take decades for India to get the vaccine from abroad. Vaccine work used to be completed abroad. We have ramped up the speed of our vaccination drive. Within one year India delivered two Made In India vaccines because of the sheer hard work of our scientists.
* More than 23 crore Indians have been vaccinated. We trust our hardworking scientists. Logistics also played a major role in driving the Largest Vaccination Drive.
* Today, 7 companies are working on developing vaccines. Three trials are underway. We are also researching on nasal vaccines.
* We have also started trials to determine the safety of our vaccines on children. This will greatly help the country's war against the virus.
* Before the coming of second wave, most of the health workers were vaccinated. Can you imagine what would have happened if our frontline workers, doctors & other hospital staff were not vaccinated against the virus?
* Starting from 21 June the Government of India will provide free vaccines to States for the age group of 18 years and above.
* Today, after much deliberations, we have decided that 25% of the vaccine responsibilities that were looked after by the state governments, will now be looked after the Centre.
* No State government of the country will have to spend anything on the vaccine. Government of India will provide free vaccine to all the countrymen.
* 25% of vaccines can be purchased by the private hospitals. Though the government will provide free vaccines to all the countrymen, those who want to pay for the same can get vaccinated at private hospitals.
* Private hospitals will be able to charge a maximum service charge of Rs 150 for a single dose after the fixed price of the vaccine. The task of monitoring it will remain with the state governments.
