National Single Window System for Investors and Businesses Launched by Shri Piyush Goyal

 "Launch of National Single Window System, is a giant leap, towards making India Aatmanirbhar" said Shri Piyush Goyal while Launching the facility.

Union Minister for Commerce & Industry, Textiles, Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution Shri Piyush Goyal said that NSWS will usher in Azadi from legacy of running to Govt. offices  for approvals and registrations  He said that in this 75 weeks of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”, we can share “Azadi ka Amrit” with Investors, Business owners (MSMEs) not only form India but from the world.The Minister said that

Joint Press Statement on the Launch of Negotiations for the India – United Arab Emirates Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA)

 H.E. Shri Piyush Goyal, India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution and Textiles, and H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, United Arab Emirates Minister of State for Foreign Trade, have formally launched negotiations on the India-United Arab Emirates Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and a high-level UAE delegation have travelled to New Delhi to hold talks aimed at improving bilateral economic relations, including expanding the existing trade and investment relationship. The first round of CEPA negotiations will be held on 23-24 September 2021.

 Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' by flagging off ‘Dandi March' from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad on 12th March 2021. This Mahotsav will continue till 15 August 2023. The aim of celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is to create a Vision for India in 2047.

APEDA, a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, is the nodal agency for promoting Indian agro and processed food exports and is responsible for facilitating and promoting export of horticulture, floriculture, processed food, poultry products, dairy and other agro products.

India as the largest democracy must set an example to others through its Parliament and legislatures.- Shri M Venkaiah Naidu



 The Vice President, Shri M Venkaiah Naidu observed that as the largest democracy in the world, India’s Parliament and legislatures should set an example to others.

Interacting with students pursuing a one-year diploma course in Political Leadership and Governance from ‘The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda’ at Upa Rashtrapati Nivas in Delhi, he stressed the need to strengthen parliamentary democracy and deepen the processes for good governance as the country celebrates 75 years of our Independence.

The Vice President, who is also the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha expressed his concern over frequent disruptions in Parliament and state legislatures. He added that such dysfunctional legislatures strike at the root of the principle of parliamentary democracy.

 Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University in Aligarh. He also visited the exhibition models of the Aligarh node of Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor and Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University.

Addressing the event, the Prime Minister Remembered the late Kalyan Singh ji. He said that Kalyan Singh Ji would have been very happy to see the emerging profile of Aligarh in the defence sector and the establishment of  Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University in Aligarh.

The Prime Minister underlined the fact that how many such great personalities gave their all to the freedom movement. But it was the country's misfortune that after independence, the next generations of the country were not made aware of the sacrifices of such national heroes and national heroines. Many generations of the country were deprived of knowing their stories, the Prime Minister lamented. The Prime Minister remarked, today,  21st century India is correcting these mistakes of the 20th century.

 Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi performed the Lokarpan of Sardardham Bhavan and Bhoomi Pujan of Sardardham Phase – II Kanya Chhatralaya via video conferencing. The CM and Deputy CM of Gujarat were also present on the occasion.

The Prime Minister expressed happiness that the commencement of Sardar Dham Bhawan is happening on the occasion of Ganeshotsav. He wished everyone for Ganesh Chaturthi, Ganeshotsav and Rishi Panchami and kshamavani Divas. He lauded all the members associated with Sardar Dham Trust for their dedication to the service of humanity. He admired their emphasis on the empowerment of the youth of the Patidar society as well as the poor and especially women.

Performance of Indian Paralympians changed people’s perception towards disability – Vice President Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu



 The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu today lauded the performance of our sportspersons at Tokyo Olympics and called for doubling the medal count in the Paris Olympics in 2024. He also urged all stakeholders including the private sector to build an all-encompassing support system for our young and aspiring athletes.

Inaugurating the Tiruchirappalli Campus of SRM Institute of Science and Technology virtually from Chennai Raj Bhavan, the Vice President said that the stellar performance of India’s sportspersons at Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics filled the hearts of all our countrymen with pride.

 Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi interacted with healthcare workers and beneficiaries of the COVID vaccination program in Himachal Pradesh via video conference. Governor, Chief Minister, Shri J P Nadda, Union Minister, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, MPs, MLAs, Panchayat leaders, among others, were present on the occasion.

During the interaction, talking to Dr Rahul of Civil Hospital, Dodra Kwar Shimla, the Prime Minister praised the team for minimizing the vaccine wastage and discussed their experience about serving in a difficult area. Talking to vaccination beneficiary Shri Dayal Singh of Thunag, Mandi, the Prime Minister inquired about the facilities of vaccination and how they dealt with the rumours regarding vaccination. The beneficiary thanked the Prime Minister for his leadership. The Prime Minister praised the team efforts of the Himachal team. With ASHA worker Nirma Devi from Kullu, the Prime Minister inquired about her experience with the vaccination drive. The Prime Minister talked about the use of local traditions in helping the vaccination drive. He praised the model of dialogue and collaboration developed by the team. He enquired how her team travelled a long distance to administer the vaccines.

 Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released a special commemorative coin on the occasion of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada Ji today via video conference. Union Minister For Culture, Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Shri G Kishan Reddy, among others,  was present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister mentioned the happy coincidence of Janmashtami day before and the 125th birth anniversary of Srila Prabhupada ji. ‘It is like achieving happiness and contentment of sadhana together. He also noted that the occasion is taking place amidst the celebration of Azadi ka Amrit mahotsav.  This is how millions of followers of Srila Prabhupada Swami and millions of Krishna devotees all over the world are experiencing today’, the Prime Minister said.

 Initiating series of programs under month long Poshan Maah 2021, the Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Zubin Irani said that the need of hour is to provide the knowledge about how the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda intervention can be effectively utilized to address the nutrition requirement of the nation. WCD Minister inaugurated NUTRI GARDEN to mark the beginning of Poshan Maah – 2021 today at All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA). Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai, Minister of State for Ayush and WCD was also present on this occasion. Plantation of Shigru (Sahijan) and Amla, saplings were also carried out by the both Ministers. All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi (AIIA) under the direction of the Ministry of Ayush initiated the celebration of Poshan Maah - 2021.
